Tom and Cindy Baas Swine Industry Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Animal Science. Recipients shall demonstrate an interest in exploring a career in the pork industry. Preference shall be given to students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated leadership through activities in the college. This award shall be made available to students with sophomore or higher class standing. This scholarship may be renewed an additional two (2) years so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.

Donor request that one scholarship in the amount of $1,250 be awarded each year.
