S. E. Ainsworth Horticultural Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Horticulture with a focus in floriculture, fruit production, vegetable production or nursery management. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa and citizens of the United States as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need. Recipients shall have high academic achievement. Recipients of the Ray Schulenberg Memorial Scholarship shall meet all of the above criteria and shall have an interest in native prairie restoration projects in the Midwest. Recipients of this scholarship may also be enrolled in turfgrass management in the Department of Horticulture. These awards shall be made available to transfer students from a community college or junior college.
