Alcoa Scholars Account

The recipient shall be majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering. The recipient shall demonstrate a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale. Preference shall be given to students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy. This scholarship shall be made available to students with undergraduate class standing. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria.
