Kemper A. Kirkpatrick Memorial Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Horticulture.
2. Recipients shall be a United States citizen, permanent resident, and/or an international student, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Recipients shall be students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
4. Recipients shall have demonstrated promise for a career in horticulture, as determined by the administering authority.
5. Freshman recipients shall have a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 2.95 on a 4.0 scale and transfer or continuing students shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
6. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
