Colleen Beaman Ellis Veterans Gratitude Fund

Recipients shall be enrolled at Iowa State University. Recipients shall be veterans, military personnel and their family members. The Director of the Veterans Center shall be responsible for administering the Distributions from the Account and applying such Distributions. Funds shall be used for both indirect and direct support including, but not limited to, academic support such as tutoring costs, scholarships for books, tuition and fees, room and board and other forms of financial support including food, gas, utilities and living expenses, and service animals. Examples of indirect support include, but are not limited to, programmatic expenses such as Thursday Night Dinners, Veterans Learning Community or other needs as determined by the administering authority, to best accomplish the mission of the Veterans Center.
