Andy Estal Food Science Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition majoring in Food Science.

2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

3. First preference shall be given to students who are active in, affiliated with, or have benefited from the Center for LGBTQIA+ Student Success as determined by the administering authority.

4. Second preference shall be given to students interested in careers in functional foods and/or food ingredients, as determined by the administering authority.

5. Third preference shall be given to students with learning challenges, as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
