Boeing Company Endowment
1. Recipients shall be full-time students accepted to/enrolled in the College of Engineering majoring in aerospace engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, cyber security engineering, electrical engineering, materials science engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or software engineering. Incoming first-year students may be undeclared in their first year.
2. Recipients shall be United States citizens or permanent residents eligible to work in the United States, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid
4. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
5. Recipients shall have a strong interest in the aerospace or cybersecurity industry as determined by the administering authority.
6. Recipients shall be students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
7. Recipients shall demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service.
8. Preference shall be given to first-generation college students.
This award shall be made available to students of incoming first-year class standing.
