Bayer Agricultural Scholarship
Recipients shall be majoring in Agronomy, Seed Science, Horticulture, Insect Science, Agricultural Systems Technology, Agricultural Studies, Microbiology, Global Resource Systems, Genetics, Food Science, Environmental Science, Culinary Science, Biology, Agricultural Biochemistry, Agricultural Business , or Public Service and Administration in Agriculture. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative college-level grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or a minimum high school-level grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference shall be given to incoming freshman applicants who have participated in 4-H and/or Future Farmers of America programs. This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing, including incoming freshman. This scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
The Donors intend to support five (5) freshmen, five (5) transfer students, and ten (1) continuing students with $1,000 scholarships annually, so long as funding is available.
