Dr. Coats Endowed Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
2. Recipients shall be working on a minor in insect science and/or have an interest in the area of toxicology, as determined by the administering authority.
3. Preference shall be given to students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.

Administration: The Donor would like two (2) scholarships awarded annually dividing the Distributions evenly between one (1) student with a minor in insect science and one (1) student with an interest in toxicology. If in any year there are no eligible students with an interest in toxicology or a minor in insect science, two (2) scholarships may be awarded to students with an interest in toxicology or to students minoring in insect science. Scholarships may be added when Distributions grow sufficiently to add additional awards without reducing the significant benefit of the awards.
If at any time the minor in insect science ceases to exist, scholarships shall be awarded to undergraduate or graduate students studying entomology.
