Gary F. Short and Harriet Mason Short Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy.

2. Recipients shall be in good academic standing as determined by the administering authority.

3. Scholarships shall be awarded in the following priority order:

a. Students who are graduates of Independence High School in
Independence, Iowa or Webster City High School in Webster
City, Iowa.

c. Should Distributions exceed the amount necessary to provide substantial scholarships to the above students, then students who are residents of the State of Iowa may be selected as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy.
