Del and Mary Kay Bowden Beginning Agriculture Professional Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall be ranked in the top 20% of their high school graduating class if the recipient is an incoming freshman, or shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale if the recipient is a transfer student. Recipients shall have an interest in exploring careers in farm production but not pre-veterinary medicine. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy. Preference shall be given to students who are from a farm production background. This award shall be made available to incoming freshman students and first year undergraduate transfer students. This scholarship is non-renewable.
