Neal and Kitty Conover Science With Practice Scholarship

Recipients shall be full-time students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall demonstrate leadership participation through a submitted application. Recipients will be employed at least 10 hours per week at Iowa State University. It is preferred that employment focuses on the student’s major area of study. Incoming freshman students need only meet the work requirement for their second semester at Iowa State University, however second year students must be employed for the entirety of their second year. This award shall be made available to students with freshman or sophomore class standing. This scholarship may be renewed for one (1) additional year so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
