Palmer and Sheryl Holden International Travel Scholarship in Animal Science
Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Animal Science. Recipients shall be participating in a study abroad program offered by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the time these scholarship funds are awarded. Preference shall be given to applicants who are pursuing an independent study program as opposed to a group travel course, but both types of study abroad are eligible. Preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate that they would not participate in a study abroad program absent this support. This scholarship shall be made available to undergraduate students. This scholarship be be renewed.
The Donor would like two (2) scholarships of $1,000 each awarded annually. Distributions in excess of $2,000 may be used to increase the dollar amount of these scholarships or may be awarded as general scholarships.
