Dennis Hanson Scholarship Fund

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering or the Department of Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

3. Recipients shall be Iowa residents as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

4. Preference shall be given to at least one (1) female and/or minority recipient annually as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.

Administration: The Donor would like two (2) scholarships of $5,000 awarded annually so long as there is available funding. The Donor may at times contribute additional funds to allow for additional scholarships of $5,000. Check the available funding each year to determine the number of scholarships to be awarded.
