AGCO Scholarship in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering with a declared major in either of the following degree programs: a. Agricultural Engineering b. Agricultural Systems Technology. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy: a. Shall be given to students with an interest/coursework in agronomy, precision agriculture, mechatronics, or off-road equipment, b. Shall be given to female students, c. Shall be given to students who are actively engaged with ISU student clubs or organizations that focus on hands-on machinery design, and/or machinery competitions (ie. ASABE Cyclone Pullers, ASABE Robotics, Antique Tractor Club, Cyclone Space Mining, ISU Robotics Club, Team PrISUm, or SAI (Baja, Clean Snowmobile, Formula, Supermileage)). All awards shall be for one (1) year and may not be renewed. This award shall be made available to students of freshman, sophomore and junior class standing. Administration: The donor would like three (3) annual scholarships of $1,500 awarded during the fall semester based on available funding. The donor does not want scholarships split between two semesters.
