  1. The application deadline for scholarships from the Department of World Languages and Cultures is March 1, 2024. Recipients will be notified by mid-April and will be invited to join us for our Scholarship and Awards Ceremony on April 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.   7. If you have a major in Anthropology, describe how, if awarded, this scholarship will help to further your education in anthropology.
  8. If you are applying for the Alfred P. Kehlenbeck Fund OR the Walter M. and Patricia L. Chatfield Scholarship, please describe any plans to teach post-graduation and in what subject areas or languages.
  9. The Ronald A. Schubert Scholarship Fund gives preference to individuals from a rural town in Iowa with a population of 10,000 or less. Please describe how you meet this criterion if applying for this scholarship.
  10. Many of our scholarships are for study abroad experiences. Please provide detailed information on your study abroad plans for the next academic year or summer to include: (1)Name of Study Abroad Program, (2)Time frame of the program (when it is offered), (3)How it relates to your area of study or post-graduation aspirations, (4)Why you want to participate in this study abroad program.
