Edgar Timm Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
2. Recipients shall be pursuing a course of study in agronomy, horticulture, plant genetics, plant pathology or seed science, as determined by the administering authority.
3. Recipients shall be selected based on academic excellence and professional potential as determined by the administering authority.
4. Preference shall be given to students with verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Need.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.

Administration: The Donor would like these scholarships to be of significant benefit to the recipients and asks that two scholarships of $5,000 be awarded annually, based on available Distributions. Unawarded Distributions above what is needed for the two annual scholarships shall be available for award in the following year. One or more additional scholarships may be awarded when/if the Distributions grow to the level to provide additional scholarships of $5,000. The Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences may from time to time, based on economic conditions, increase the amount of future scholarships to continue to provide scholarships of significant benefit.
