Dekalb Genetics Scholarship

Recipients shall be undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall be majoring in one of the following: swine production, seed science, animal science, agronomy, agricultural economics, agricultural journalism, or other discipline relating to the criteria above. Recipients shall have maintained a 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher grade point average from their high school experience or from their former year in college. Recipients shall have demonstrated potential for a career in farming, livestock production, or an agricultural genetics business. Recipients shall demonstrate financial need. The scholarship may be renewed for an additional three (3) years so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria.
