C.S. Chan Architectural China Study Abroad Scholarship
Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Design majoring in Architecture. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall be participating in a semester-long study abroad opportunity in China, as determined by the administering authority. Recipients shall be Iowa residents as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy. This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
Administration: Recipients shall submit a short essay describing what benefits they will receive from the experience. The Donors would like to support five (5) students annually and each scholarship shall be $4,750, based on available funding. If in any year this scholarship can not be awarded, due either to travel restrictions or a lack of qualified applicants, the funds will be held in the Account for future scholarships awarded under the same terms stated above. The Donors request that the Foundation provide them with a report annually.
