The Olga Margaret Thompson Endowment Fund

Recipients shall be majoring in the physical sciences, with a preference to students in engineering, math and computer science. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need. Recipients shall be female as allowed by Federal and State law, and University policy. Recipients shall be citizens of the United States, with a preference for residents of the State of Iowa as allowed by Federal and State law, and University policy. This award shall be made available to students of junior and senior class standing. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed for one (1) additional year at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the stated criteria.

At least one (1) full (tuition and fees) scholarship shall be awarded annually. At no time shall there be more than two (2) full (tuition and fees) scholarships awarded during the same academic year. The balance of the Distributions shall be awarded in number and amounts as determined by the administering authority.
