Landus Cooperative Scholarship for Freshmen in Agriculture Business, Agriculture Studies and Agronomy

Recipients shall be majoring in agricultural business, agricultural studies, or agronomy in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have demonstrated leadership in agricultural activities such as, but not limited to, 4-H and/or FFA, agricultural education and vocational agriculture involvement. Residents shall be Iowa residents as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. Preference shall be given to applicants who have career interests related to the grain industry such as, but not limited to, agronomics, commodity merchandising, grain marketing, and elevator management. This award shall be made available to incoming freshman students. This scholarship is non-renewable.
Administration: The Donor would like three (3) $1,000 scholarships awarded to Agricultural Business students annually, four (4) $1,000 scholarships awarded to Agricultural Studies students annually and three (3) scholarships awarded to Agronomy students annually so long as there is available funding.
