Glenn A. Atwood, Ph.D. and Mary Ellen Atwood, Ph.D. Scholarship in Human Development and Family Studies

Recipients shall be majoring in Child, Adult and Family Services or working toward licensure in Early Childhood Education. Recipients shall be in good academic standing. Recipients shall be married. First preference shall be given to an applicant who demonstrates financial need. Second preference shall be given to an applicant who demonstrates participation in departmental and college activities. Third preference shall be given to an applicant who demonstrates participation in community activities. Fourth preference shall be given to an applicant who demonstrates participation in extracurricular activities of the University. This scholarship shall be made available to students with undergraduate class standing. All scholarships awarded hereunder shall be for one year, but may be renewed for up to three additional years (for a total of four years) at the discretion of the awarding authority, provided the recipient continues to meet the Criteria.
