3M Endowed Scholarship in Engineering

Recipient criteria: Recipients shall be majoring in materials science and engineering, chemical and biological engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or software engineering in the College of Engineering. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need as determined by the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid. Recipients shall demonstrate leadership skills through participation in school activities, extracurricular activities, or community service as determined by the administer authority. Preference shall be given to underrepresented groups and minorities as determined by the administering authority. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior and senior class standing. Scholarships funded through Distributions from the Account shall be awarded on an annual basis. After a recipient has received his or her first annual scholarship award, said recipient shall be entitled to receive up to two (2) additional annual scholarship awards, so long as said recipient continues to meet all of the criteria set forth in this Section III for each applicable year.
