John Davlin Scholarship

Recipients shall be majoring in electrical engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Recipients shall have verified financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Nebraska as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. Preference shall be given to students who are employed while attending college as determined by the administering authority. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria. This award shall be made available to incoming freshman students.

The Donor would like these scholarships to have a significant impact for the recipient and ask that one scholarship be awarded annually.

NOTE: the donor intends for this to be awarded to an incoming freshman student, and then to continue supporting the recipient throughout their undergraduate studies.
