Ronald and Elizabeth Leonard Leadership in Creativity and Innovation Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering majoring in Agricultural Engineering with an emphasis in Power and Machinery. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall demonstrate creativity and innovative use of technology for the solution of problems. Preference shall be given to students with demonstrated financial need. This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing. This scholarship may be renewed for one (1) additional year so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.

The Donors prefer to have one (1) significant scholarship awarded annually to the neediest and most deserving agricultural engineering student. If the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering’s scholarship committee feels very strongly that there are two (2) students of equal merit in an exceptional year that is okay, but the scholarship committee should respect the intention of the Donors to fund one (1) annual award.
