Farmers Business Network Scholarship at Iowa State University

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering majoring in Agricultural Systems Technology or enrolled in the Department of Agricultural Education and Studies majoring in Agricultural Studies with a strong interest in agricultural business. For AST majors: Recipients shall come from an agricultural background with a strong interest in a farm related career. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall be full-time students with the definition of full-time being enrolled with a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours. for Ag Studies majors: Preference shall be given to students who contribute to student body diversity i.e., underrepresented in the university, major or program at the time of the award. This award shall be made available to undergraduate students of junior and senior class standing.This scholarship is non-renewable.

The Donor requests that one (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,000 be awarded annually to a recipient from the Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering criteria and one (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,000 be awarded annually to a recipient from the Agricultural Studies criteria so long as funding is available.
