American Institute of Architects - Iowa Chapter Scholarship

Recipients shall be accepted to or enrolled in the architecture undergraduate professional program in the Department of Architecture. Recipients shall be students of good academic standing. Recipients shall be citizens of the United States. Recipients shall have demonstrated involvement in AIAS as well as demonstrated potential in design. First preference shall be given to students who are underrepresented in the United States. Second preference shall be given to students from the State of Iowa. This award shall be made available to students 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year students in the program. This scholarship is non-renewable.

Recipient must be a student affiliate member of the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter.
It is the Donor’s intent to provide scholarships of approximately $1,000 to be given on an annual basis to students enrolled in the architecture program who meet the criteria. Support from AIA, National Chapter may continue in subsequent years. During the years that AIA, National Chapter supports this scholarship, their portion will be submitted to the AIA, Iowa Chapter, who will forward all donations to this Account. The award will then become two (2) scholarships of approximately $1,500 each. The AIA, National Chapter should also be included in recognition materials in the appropriate years.
