First Generation Scholarship

Iowa State University is offering “First Generation Scholarships” to students who are the first of their immediate family to attend college. Recipients of this award must have ISU Junior or Senior classification for the fall semester of the award year. The First Generation Scholarship can be renewed for one additional year provided the student fulfills the scholarship requirements. Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine financial need.
