Gary Tartakov Design Scholarship

Gary Tartakov Design Scholarship- This award is given to ONE incoming first-year student and ONE current student who is participating in a Study Abroad opportunity.

Incoming First-Year Scholarship criteria: 1. Recipients shall demonstrate verified financial need 2. Recipients shall be a resident of Iowa 3. Preference shall be given to a student studying a program in the Department of Art and Design (Art and Design, Interior, and Graphic) 4. Preference shall be given to a student with a family background in farming.

Study Abroad Scholarship criteria: 1. Recipients shall demonstrate high academic accomplishment as evidenced by a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 2. The recipient shall be a resident of Iowa 3. Recipient shall demonstrate verified financial need 4. Preference shall be given to a student studying a program in the Department of Art and Design. These scholarships are one semester awards made to undergraduate students.

Student selected to receive this Scholarship will be requested to write a one-page thank you letter to the scholarship’s donor(s).
