Fouad M. T. Alghanim Minority Student Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be students enrolled at Iowa State University.
2. Recipients shall be from one (1) or more of the following groups as determined by the administering authority:
a) Students who have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles.
b) Students who have experienced poverty due to economic conditions, natural disasters, or conflict.
c) Students who demonstrate the need for emergency support based on a recent life event that jeopardizes their ability to continue or graduate from graduate from the University.
d) Students who have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
This award shall be made available to students of any class standing.
