Gregory S. Palermo and Olivia M. A. Madison Scholarship for International Travel
Recipients shall be majoring in architecture. Recipients shall be enrolled in an international travel program. The international travel may be related to established programs that the department sponsors, international travel through international arrangements that the university may hold, and independent travel for academic credit so long as there is a supervising professor and a course of study outlined. First preference for scholarships shall be based on overall academic performance. Second preference shall be based on demonstrated professional promise. Third preference shall be given to students with demonstrated financial need. This scholarship shall be made available to 4th or 5th year students in the undergraduate professional program. This scholarship is non-renewable.
The numbers of awards shall not exceed a total of three (3) in any given academic year. If no recipients are selected in any one year, the administrator shall request that the cash balance in the fund for that year be returned to the endowment principal.
